She was born in Petion-Ville, Haiti, where her parents, Woody Dumornay & Florence Laurent, are born and raised. She was raised in the state of Maryland and the tri-state area of the USA with her brothers and sister.

Currently she resides in Texas with her husband, Bezaleel Israel, and son Zechariah.
